E-LEAGUE - FIFA21 - PS4 & PS5 (SUN & THURS) Rules

Ever wondered what it takes to be an eSports champion? Well that’s a good enough reason to play just like them. Here’s the rundown to our eLeague is:

  • Your schedule will allow you to see the schedule before the start of the season. To access your schedule, please login to www.urbanrec.com.au/login. 
  • The opponent’s team name will be their PSN ID/Xbox Game Tag. So please add all these before the start of the season for ease. You will receive a welcome email to remind you before the start of the season. 
  • Once you’ve opened the game, please send an invite to your scheduled opponent to play a game. 
  • The result will be determined by the amount of games WON (WIN = 1, DRAW or LOSS = 0) – e.g. If Lindsay beats Danny in first 2 games & the last game is a draw, the final score is Lindsay 2 – 0 Danny. If all games are a draw, then the score will be 0-0. 
  • Game settings will be set by the League Manager before the start of the season. 
  • No Ultimate teams or special/modified teams are allowed for selection. Please ensure all squads have been updated before you start the night. 
  • If you and your opposition would like to play more, GO FOR GOLD! Please have a mutual agreement if any additional games  are counted to the final result or just for fun. 
  • You can change your team at the end of every game if you wish. 
  • Use of subs and change of tactics/formations is encouraged. 
  • If a game drops out due to poor internet connection, this will be deemed as a loss. This can be changed by a mutual agreement with both players (e.g. the score was 2-0 when the game dropped out, an easy fix could be to restart the game with a 2-0 lead and play on). 
  • If you are unable to play on a given night, please email us at [email protected] to notify your league manager by 5pm of the day before. This is to ensure that all players receive a game as scheduled. 

Urban Rec is all about the social, fun environment created through your beloved sport. Our Fun Points are used across all our leagues and we want to make sure this carried over to our eLeagues. This is how we measure and recognise the social fun side of the game. After every fixture, you’ll receive an email to enter the scores from last night and the fun points you wish to reward the opponent. 

  • For maximum FUN, engage with your opponent at the start of the night by joining the league FB chat, sending a message through PSN or engaging through mic. 
  • To ensure our FUN FIRST Policy applies, the goal difference of each game does not matter to your standings. If there is a tie at the top of the table, the winner between them will be determined by Fun Points. 
  • A PERFECT 5 FUN NIGHT can be seen as a night you would love to have every night of the week! Games were on time, sportsmanship was through the roof, the banter was top notch, they were engaging throughout the night, the opponent was sharing their tricks and tips of the game, and… win or lose, you go to bed excited of what just happened, maybe even enough to tell your partner who clearly doesn’t give a sh*t. 
  • If after a game, low rec points were recorded, your league manager will get in contact that week to discuss what happened in the game, and why the low points were recorded.
  • The player with the highest Fun points average will receive a Merch Prize from our Sponsors. 

This crisis has been tough for everyone and we can’t wait to get started to bring the community back together. So make sure you crack a brew before the game with your new online buddies and enjoy your night – make the most of it!
