CBR Summer Fast5 Netball Braddon [Wed]

SKILL LEVEL RECREATIONAL: This league is for all skill levels. Learner, beginner, experienced, or intermediate, we are all here for the same reasons, and that's to have fun, get fit, and try something different. The league will be levelled, and all teams will enjoy healthy matched competition.

TEAM SIZE: There are 5 people required on the courts at all times. A maximum of 3 males on the court at a given time (no minimum # of females). We recommend having a team list of at least 8 people to allow for subs, and players attendance. Click to view Team Roster Instructions and Default & Subs Policy. 

INDOOR COURTS: We play indoors at the Gym at Merici College.  As such you will not be subject to rainouts!  Should we have to cancel for any reason, we will notify by 4p.

TEAM REGISTRATION:  Team rego is payable upfront, and that fee is all you will have to pay. You can choose how many people you’d like to have on the team, and you can have as many subs as you need. To view fees for Team Registration, scroll to the bottom of this page, and choose your league.

INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION: Don’t have a team? No problem, register as an individual, and we will match you with a team, the cost is $99 per person. That is the only cost you will have for the season.  Individual Player FAQs and Individual Teams Policy. 

YOUR DEDICATED STAFF: Your Event Host is LEISH. Your Event Host is in charge of running the games, teaching you the rules, and coaching you and the team as needed. Your League Manager is Donald, contact him about changes to the schedule, or any other questions. 

WHAT TO BRING:  We provide all the equipment you need, as well as the team set of bibs. Wear normal runners, activewear... Your team will be given bibs for the duration of the season, it’s up to your team to bring them each week. Don’t forget water!

GETTING THERE: This location is in the heart of Braddon, a short distance from the CBD of Canberra. Coming by public transit? You can take the 7, or the 939 along Torrens St. Driving? There is plenty of parking onsite. 

YOUR LOCAL CLUBHOUSE: This league is sponsored by The RUC. They offer discounts on drinks for Urban Rec Members. Make sure you and your team get together post game for a few celebratory drinks!
