LEAGUE INFORMATION

🤝 PARTNERSHIP: Wheelchair Rugby League is organised by Urban Rec in partnership with Canberra Region Rugby League. Our partnership with CRRL allows players pathways to regional, national and international competitions. 

🏅 SKILL LEVEL: This league offers RECREATIONAL divisions. Click here to see a summary of skill levels. WRL can be played by disabled and able bodied participants and is a great way to play sport together

👥 AGE REQUIREMENT: Urban Rec is an 18+ sports club but as this league is a joint league with Canberra Region Rugby league it is open to players under 18 (14+). If you are under 18 and wish to play please email [email protected] or call 0423 297 310. 

💁‍♀️ INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION: Don’t have a team? Register as an individual, and we will match you with a team. The individual registration fee is the only cost you will have for the season. When you register as an individual player, we will provide you and your team with a uniform. Check out more Individual Player FAQs. 

🌤 INDOOR COURTS: No rain outs, yay!

💰 RESERVE YOUR TEAM WITH A DEPOSIT: If you’re in charge of organizing the team, you might be still collecting everyone’s cashola to be able to register. To make it easy, you can choose to pay a $150 deposit during the team registration process. All remaining balances for deposits are due 1 week before the league starts.

🚨REGISTRATION CLOSE DATE: Registrations for this league close 4-5 days before the league start date, if not sold out prior.
