Urban Rec is all about helping people try new sports, get the passion back for an old sport or play a sport you love socially with your mates. This Summerwe are running an Event Series for all the motherfunners out there who want to try something new or talk their mates in trying a new sport. Join us and our mates at ACT HANDBALL for a FREE event, where our Event Hosts will take you through all the basics of Urban Rec’s EUROPEAN HANDBALL. After we have covered the basics, then it’s all in for an epic mini tournament, then join us why not join us for a post-game brew at the Clubhouse!

What to expect

Upon arrival you will be greeted and checked off (you must have an UR account – it’s free and takes less than 2mins)
Once everyone has arrived, our Event Host will set you up into teams. We’ll make sure you’re in the same team as your mates.
Expect to learn the basics of the game, with some coaching and tips
You might do some fun variations of the game (training style drills)
Expect to play in a mini tournament, which might require some sideline cheering
Finish the night with a beer and a feed at our local clubhouse with your new friends
